I just saw a news segment about an Arab firm taking over responsibility of the ports in NY, NJ, Miami, Philly and elsewhere. Considering the huge responsibility there, I think it would be appropriate for them to have a test contract first. The Secret Service should turn over the responsibility of protecting the President and others of his administration to this firm for a few months to see how well they do.
After all, if this administration thinks it is OK to turn the lives of millions of Americans over to their trust, he should lead the country by example.
The test would be very simple. If nobody in the administration was hurt or killed during the test period, then and only then should we allow them to protect our ports. Sounds fair doesn't it? What do you think the odds are that the President would gamble his own life the way he wants to gamble everyone else's. Or, is it just greed? Is this administration so corrupt that they will roll over for a few extra dollars above and below the table to abandon common sense.
This is beyond bad leadership or bad policy. This is insanity in its truest form.

There is another national-security problem developing for this country which is well depicted in this article by Marilyn Berlin Snell.
Thanks for your attention. I would be interested in hearing your response in this comment section.
Thanks for the insight and awareness of this one of many problems. I don't say that to discount the severity of it, only that there are literally dozens of scary deals happening all over the country and the world. The most reassuring part of it is that this Unesco deal is taking place in "down home USA" where the ordinary citizens can become and are the real heroes of the day.
The only thing that can save this country from destruction is the courage of the individual American. We saw it on 9-11 when ordinary citizens crashed a jet before it could hit the Capitol.
People are greedy. That's like saying people breathe air. What continues to amaze me though is the utter insatiable greed that many politicians and big business people have. There are no limits to how many billions of dollars they want to line their own pockets with.
Politicians and greedy business (not all business - I believe in capitalism) will get us killed. Only an individual American, strong and patriotic and brave can save us.
Security in general is much better than it used to be, if only because much of it is privatized and heavily legislated. The holes in this country's government security however, is another story.
