Timing is everything. Being in the right place at the right time. More importantly being ready to hear and recognize an opportunity when it comes.

When I was dating, I found a compatible woman only when I was in the right space to have a relationship. That's when I let it happen. Same thing in business. You are ready or you're not when a good opportunity comes along. You pick up on the signals and the thing just falls into place. You can't force these things.

I was presented with an opportunity this week. I only needed to show up and not shrink away from a meeting that was put together. My reputation preceded me and I was offered a good opportunity just for being there. But to hear it and respond properly I needed to be in tune to it. It wasn't a loud knock. It was a whisper. More a tone that is underneath the spoken words that you can respond to in many ways. I did it right this time and I realized that these things are around all the time. If I just listen hard enough.
